2012 Emerald/IAM South Asia Management Research Fund Award

 

Emerald and the Indian Academy of Management (IAM) are delighted to offer a research grant for a South Asian project in the field of management research. The winner recieved £2,000 for the winning research project, and two prizes of £500 each were awarded to highly-commended runners up, to fund or part-fund these projects.

2012 Emerald/IACMR Chinese Management Research Fund Award

Results!

Emerald and the International Association for Chinese Management Research (IACMR) are delighted to announce the results of their Chinese Management Research Fund Award. The winner received £2,000 to fund the winning research project and two runners received prizes of £500.

The IACMR are pleased to offer the winner(s) a complimentary membership, which will include a subscription to Management and Organization Review, for a limited time of 12 months. To those who are already IACMR members, their membership will be extended by one year beyond their current membership expiration date. Similarly, Emerald will also offer a subscription to Chinese Management Studies, on the same terms.

2011 Emerald African Management Research Fund Award

Emerald, ALCS (The Authors' Licensing and Collecting Society), INASP and the International Academy of African Business and Development (IAABD), are delighted to announce the results of the 2011 African Management Research Fund Award. The judges had a difficult decision as two exceptional research proposals were received. It has been decided that two winners will be chosen. The total prize money will be increased from £2,500 to £3,000 and will be split equally between the two winning research projects.

On behalf of CENTRUM Católica, Graduate School of Business, Pontificia Universidad Católica del Peru, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to Emerald Group Publishing Limited and their esteemed judging panel for choosing our research. The research project aims to reexamine the SERVQUAL instrument in Peruvian banking sector and evaluate the service quality using various alternative approaches to derive the important implications for bank management. The study proposes the application of dominance analysis to derive the relative importance of each critical factor, followed by the estimation of gap elasticities using log-linear regression models. Further, the application of data envelopment analysis is proposed to evaluate the service quality efficiency of different banks with special treatment to Likert-scale data."

2012 Emerald/EFMD MENA Management Research Fund Award

Emerald and EFMD are delighted to announce the results of the 2012 Emerald/EFMD MENA Management Research Fund Award. There will be one award of £2,000 (or currency equivalent) for the winning research project, and two awards of £500 each for highly-commended runners up, to fund or part-fund these projects.

The winner will be invited to receive their award at the hosted by American University of Beirut and will receive a complimentary delegate pass.

In addition to the research fund it is also hoped that the findings of the research can be published in one of Emerald’s many excellent management titles.
