Aims and Objectives 

The International Journal of Organization Theory and Behavior brings together researchers and practitioners, both within and outside the United States, who are in the areas of organization theory, management, development, and behavior.  This journal covers all private, public and not-for-profit organizations’ theories and behavior.

Recent Special Issues:

. (Volume 21, Issue 3). Guest Editor - Richard F. Huff. This symposium seeks to unravel and deflate the power of myths. It argues public administration (PA) theory and practice is heavily burdened by mythical untruths that appeal to powerful people and organizations. PA thinking and practice will remain constrained until these untruths are challenged. This symposium aims to stimulate theorizing about this practical difficulty, it consists of 6 papers from thinkers and practitioners well known in the PA literature.

. Volume 21, Issue 2. Guest Editor - Mustafa Younis. This symposium addresses certain issues related to the uninsured, e.g., Medicare, staffing and efficiency of health service delivery, and other management, economic and financial factors affecting healthcare. The issue consists of six papers that provide different perspectives and will be of interest to healthcare policy makers, academic researchers and practitioners. The significance of communication and health disparities are highlighted in this issue.
