Special issue call for papers from International Journal of Climate Change Strategies and Management

Call for Abstracts - Open Access Special Issue

This Open Access special issue aims to address the emerging challenges to agriculture due to climate change. It will bring together contributions from researchers, academia, social scientists and extension educators.

A list of potential themes but not limited to:

  • Climate change and its adverse impacts on agriculture
  • Climate change and its impacts on food security
  • Climate change and cropping patterns and systems
  • Climate change and its impacts on water resources
  • Climate change and its impacts on forests
  • Climate change and its impacts on problem/degraded lands
  • Climate change and its impacts on biodiversity
  • Climate change and its socio-economic impacts
  • Climate change and its impacts on migration
  • Climate change and floods and droughts
  • Climate change and its coping strategies
  • Climate change and Extension Education and communication
  • Capacity building and trainings of the Extensionists and the farmers to address the emerging issues due to climate change

Open Access Information

This will be an Open Access special issue. Publishing your article Open Access (OA) means your research is permanently free to read, and to reuse via Emerald’s global platform.

To provide open access publication, this journal has an article publishing charge (APC) which should be paid by authors or by their research funder or institution.

We are pleased to offer a 25% discount on the article publishing charge (APC) for this special issue. The APC is GBP £937.50 / USD $1500.

Upon acceptance of an article, the corresponding author will receive notification that payment is due. Payment should be received within 30 days of receipt of the invoice. For full details on APCs and funding options please see the FAQs on the Emerald Open Access page.

Emerald has established partnerships with national consortia bodies to offer an agreed number of gratis APCs for eligible regions and institutions. To check your eligibility please refer to the open access partnerships page.

Emerald also considers waivers for authors who are unable to access funding to pay the APC. Corresponding authors based in countries classified by the World Bank as Low or Lower Middle income may apply for a full or partial waiver. Key Deadlines

Abstracts must be received by: 12th December 2017
Please submit your abstracts by email to the Guest Editors listed below. The Guest Editors will consider all abstracts and then invite a selection to submit full papers for double-blind peer review.

Final papers will need to be fully reviewed and accepted by 12th March 2018, with an estimated publication date of May 2018.
